Former President Barack Obama also shared a statement after Harris’s loss. In his social media post, Obama partially acknowledged the factors contributing to Harris’s defeat. He pointed out the challenges America has faced in recent years, from the pandemic to rising prices and rapid change. Obama suggested that these conditions had created difficulties for democratic incumbents worldwide, with the results showing that America was not immune to such trends.
