The Federal Court Delivered a Major Ruling

Since Joe Biden has taken over as President, the Democrats have been on a rampage, trying to restrict our rights. The socialist agenda of the left has been met with resistance from a number of states. And a significant number of those conflicts have been resolved by the federal courts.

The highest courts in our country have, on multiple occasions, ruled in favor of the people of the United States. But the wars rage on, and the left continues to work toward its goal of eradicating every last remnant of our liberties and beliefs.

A significant legal matter was just presented to a panel of three judges sitting on the Sixth Circuit. And the court overturned a prohibition that was supported by the left.

After President Trump ordered a ban on bump stocks, a man named Scott Hardin from Kentucky filed a lawsuit against the ATF. After the incident in Las Vegas, which the media used to whip up a frenzy against the weapon accessory, the government decided to press for a ban on the item.

The ATF proceeded to enforce the restriction, which would have required law-abiding folks like Hardin to hand up this gadget, and possibly even their entire rifle. Hardin was one of those law-abiding citizens.

Americans with disabilities, including veterans who were injured while serving in the military, frequently utilize bump stocks so that they, too, can exercise their rights under the Second Amendment. Hardin’s case was dismissed by a lower court, so he appealed the decision to the Sixth Circuit.

The court decided that the ATF’s prohibition on machine guns could not be applied to bump stocks because the regulation was too vague. The vast majority of those who specialize in firearms will claim that bump stocks do not transform rifles into machine guns and that the regulation was flawed.

The ruling does not put an end to the debate in its entirety. However, this does not preclude the court matter from proceeding until a final decision is reached. This is a victory for law-abiding citizens of the United States who have been working to stop enormous overreach and abuse by the government.

However, even if we win every single round, this war will never be won. When a government engages in behavior of this nature, vigilant individuals have an obligation to fight back in every instance.
