Governor Ron DeSantis Unloads First Big Attack on Trump

Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida and a former ally of Donald Trump’s, has been the target of Trump’s attacks for several months. The former president has been unsparing in his vicious and, to hear many people talk about it, dishonest accusations against the governor who has had an incredible amount of success. And DeSantis has, for the most part, not even responded to Trump’s nasty accusations against him.

DeSantis is well aware that he cannot attack Trump in the same manner in which Trump is hitting him. However, he is unable to take a passive stance and allow Trump to fabricate a false narrative about him. Therefore, the governor of Florida is exploiting the undeniable evidence to entangle 45. And just this one sentence is going to really have Donald worked up.

Trump is hit hard by a condemnation delivered by DeSantis, which the former president will find difficult to ignore. DeSantis made sure to treat the former president with the utmost respect throughout the entire process. He concedes that President Trump inherited a healthy economy..at least for the first three years of his administration.

But then he goes for the throat and basically mocks Trump for the fact that he will only serve as president for one term. According to DeSantis, voters are looking for someone who is capable of serving two terms. He raises a fair point. Even if Trump is victorious, he will only be able to serve one term as president.

Because of the impending retirement of several justices on the Supreme Court in the next six to eight years, Trump will be unable to replace those positions. It is possible for a Republican president to serve two terms. In this conflict between Florida and Disney, DeSantis also brought up Trump’s backing for Disney as an issue.

DeSantis claimed that Trump was siding with a progressive business that promotes transgenderism, homosexuality, and the sexualization of minors, and he accused Trump of doing so. Is it possible for Trump to say with integrity that he is doing the right thing by backing a left-leaning firm rather than a Republican governor? And, while we’re on the subject, why would Trump slam Florida for enacting a law that bans abortions beyond 6 weeks? Does Donald Trump suddenly become a candidate who supports abortion rights?
