Feinstein Was Blindsided by Her Own Party

It is becoming quite evident that Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein has had more than simply a case of the shingles virus. She returned to work in a wheelchair after being absent for ten weeks due to her stay in the hospital. Her employer has now acknowledged that she is still suffering from a number of maladies, including consequences resulting from her infection.

The qualifications of the candidate have been called into doubt by a variety of political commentators and Republicans. Should this woman, who is 89 years old and not in good health, continue to serve as the leader of the upper chamber of Congress? Her workplace is of the opinion that she is doing well. However, a rising number of members of her own party have opposing views.

Dianne Feinstein is facing increasing pressure from fellow Democrats in Congress to quit her seat. While Senator Feinstein was absent, there was widespread support for her resignation among liberals. The only reason they were so eager to replace her was so that they could push through Biden’s plan in the Senate. But it seems that everyone had what they needed by the time she got back.

As long as they are able to exercise their right to vote, I suppose the majority of them don’t give a hoot about a person’s health or happiness. Given her illness, there have only been five people so far who have asked for Feinstein to quit. Rep. Torres went so far as to say that she is merely a “shadow” of her “former self.” That’s some pretty inflammatory language right there.

In point of fact, a person of that age who is also afflicted with bodily difficulties ought not to be addressing crucial problems in the Senate. Would you be willing to put your own grandmother or mother through something like that? Anyone within the Democratic Party who still believes Feinstein should remain in her position is deceiving themselves.
