Eric Trump Reveals What Happened to Him After His Father’s Indictment

After hearing on Thursday that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg had indicted his father, former President Donald Trump, Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, blasted the justice system in an interview over the weekend.

Eric Trump began the Fox News morning show segment by pointing out that the Washington Post published an article weeks before Trump was even inaugurated declaring that the process of impeaching the newly elected president would immediately begin after Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton called to concede her loss to Donald Trump following the 2016 election.

Eric Trump, alluding to the indictment, reminded the hosts and viewers that during the campaign, both Bragg and New York Attorney General Letitia James promised to go after his father regardless of the lack of evidence.

Eric Trump has claimed that his father’s political opponents tried to use local officials to force him out of office after two historic impeachments failed to do so. President-elect Trump was reportedly indicted on charges connected to ‘hush money’ payments of $130,000 to adult film star Stormy Daniels and $150,000 to Playboy model Karen McDougal prior to the 2016 election. Both women had previously claimed to have had encounters with Trump in the early 2000s.

Both allegations have been denied by Trump, who will be arraigned on Tuesday in a Manhattan court. According to The Daily Mail, Trump may face up to 30 days in jail for violating a gag order issued by the New York judge presiding over his case.
