Everything you need to know

💵 Democrats grow grumpy at "Bidenomics". Given his unpopularity on economic matters, Democratic leaders are cautious to stick with President Biden's emphasis on "Bidenomics." His new talking point, shared by other Democrats in Washington, is the peril of "MAGAnomics." He contends that Republican policies undermine middle-class households and manufacturing in the interest of China, "Big Pharma," and the wealthy.

🗳 LinkedIn's Democratic co-founder is in favor of Nikki Haley. Amid an establishment effort to block a Trump GOP candidacy, LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman just contributed $250,000 to a super PAC that supports Haley. Since June, Hoffman and a nonprofit that is closely associated with him have contributed considerably more to Chris Christie's cause. Hoffman, a backer of Biden, has contributed to various anti-Trump initiatives over the years, such as a writer's lawsuit accusing Trump of rape and slander.

📄 A job application for the second Trump administration was discovered. A questionnaire that Trump used in the last days of his presidency and intends to use again states that future Trump appointees will be selected based on strong ideology and loyalty. "What part of Candidate Trump's campaign message most appealed to you and why?" According to a question. Another asks, "Which politician, thinker, or political commentator best reflects your views?"

👀 Top DeSantis super PAC has a new competitor. Three senior staff members of the pro-DeSantis super PAC Never Back Down were let go in a single weekend, joining the two who had previously left. Though it has been a huge assistance to DeSantis, serving as a kind of second campaign, the organization is unstable as a result of internal strife as DeSantis tries to garner support. It's been hypothesized that Fight Right, the new super PAC, will replace it.

What has the media been talking about recently

The Democratic Party in Florida, Tennessee, and North Carolina will face challenges from Representative Dean Philips (D-MN), as he and the other Biden opponents were not allowed to appear on primary ballots.

A story from CBS News examined "conservative activists' efforts to purge voter rolls," or attempts to confirm that voters are properly registered.

To get Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on an independent ballot in at least ten states, a super PAC intends to pay $10–15 million.

According to polls, Biden's support rating fell to 37% last month, the lowest it has been during his presidency.

TRENDING IN AMERICA

President Biden just turned Muslims Angry

Here is what’s going on: Enraged by President Joe Biden's backing of Israel, Muslim leaders formed the "#AbandonBiden National Coalition." They will attempt to persuade Muslims in eight swing states to abstain from voting for Biden in 2024.

Why it’s important: The number of Muslims surpasses Biden's margin of victory in each of his victories in 2020. Biden may lose the election if they remain at home. Democrats are already leaning more against Israel, and this campaign may make things worse.

Falling backing for Israel: Democrats were beginning to stray from their previous support for the Jewish state even before the #AbandonBiden campaign was launched:

  • According to a recent survey, 63% of Democrats are against Israel's ground offensive. Another revealed that over two-thirds of young Democrats want America to remain neutral in conflicts between Israelis and Palestinians, and a majority of Democrats think Biden is "too pro-Israeli."

  • From within the administration: Early in November, around 400 employees of the Biden administration signed a statement condemning the Biden administration's backing of Israel and requesting that the United States back a ceasefire. Biden's team personally selected a large number of these staff members as political appointees.

RNC Faces Challenges in Fundraising

Here is what's going on: The Republican National Committee (RNC) is having financial difficulties even as the 2024 election draws near. It merely strengthens the increasing calls for Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel's removal.

Fear not: as of October 30, the RNC reported having just $9.1 million in cash on hand, the lowest sum since February 2015. It barely makes up little more than half of what the DNC disclosed in a Federal Election Commission filing from October.

Why it’s important: It is not helping that McDaniel, who oversaw three consecutive losing election cycles, is having trouble raising money for the RNC. Although McDaniel's poor leadership has contributed to the GOP's structural electoral issues, she cannot be held accountable for all of the party's misfortunes.

  • A track record of failure: During McDaniel's leadership, the GOP has failed to match the Democrat Party's small-dollar fundraising juggernaut and has been beset by ongoing problems with voter turnout. Additionally, the RNC has been charged with abandoning candidates lower on the ballot, neglecting to give them the resources and encouragement they need to win important races at the state level.

Well-known: Several polls conducted before the previous RNC election in January revealed that a resounding majority of Republican voters were against extending McDaniel's tenure as chair. However, some Republicans who supported McDaniel's reelection in January may now be reconsidering their choice in light of an increasing number of campaign setbacks and these financial difficulties.
