DOJ and legacy media say Biden is too old

Also, Biden prioritizes Big Pharma

Biden's mental health, or rather lack of it, is visible now that the DOJ declined to bring charges against him. How is damage control going? Very little, as the biggest liberal publications, such as the New York Times, have been focusing on the topic for the previous few days on the main page.

📈 Voters are concerned about migrant murders. During a heist in New York City, an undocumented immigrant hurt a tourist and attempted to assassinate a police officer. In Texas, a criminal immigrant who had previously been deported shot and killed a teenager returning from a night of bowling. In a related case, a constable was slain. This spike in violence coincides with immigration rising to the top of voters' concerns lists.

🤝 Biden attempts to patch things up with Muslims in Michigan. In response to criticism of Biden's pro-Israel attitude on the Gaza conflict, members of Michigan's sizable Arab American community met with high-ranking officials from the Biden administration. In exchange for its crucial voting bloc, the Muslim leadership in the state is requesting a ceasefire and limitations on aid to Israel.

💽 Hamas concealed a data center behind a UN agency. Under a facility run by the Palestinian refugee group United Nations Relief and Works Agency, Israel has found a sizable data center controlled by Hamas. Funding for UNRWA has been slashed in recent weeks following the revelation that multiple staff members had encouraged and assisted the October 7 massacre.

When negotiating a pandemic treaty, Biden gives priority to Big Pharma

Here is what's going on: The pharmaceutical industry and the Biden Administration have taken a firm stand to safeguard the intellectual property of medications and vaccines in the event of a pandemic, with the World Health Organization's Pandemic Treaty deadline approaching in May. Politicians, public health professionals, and pharmaceutical firms need to agree on the pact for it to be approved.

  • Pandemic planning: To unilaterally direct the worldwide pandemic response, the WHO is creating a global convention. If approved, the Organization would have the authority to impose vaccination requirements, proclaim lockdowns, and require American taxpayers to pay for pandemic relief efforts in developing countries.

  • Catch up: During the COVID-19 pandemic, President Biden temporarily suspended U.S. intellectual property laws in an attempt to placate progressives. This allowed developing nations to manufacture vaccinations using U.S. drugmakers' formulae.

Inconsistency: Biden is criticizing the domestic pharmaceutical sector. He has made it the goal of his campaign to oppose Big Pharma's "corporate greed," and in discussions with the WHO, he has even suggested taking control of the patents he is defending.

Why it is important: One example of Biden's shifting positions on policy is his support for the pharmaceutical industry during the treaty negotiations. This was a somewhat haphazard attempt to win over both the moderate and progressive wings of his divided party. In the case of a consensus, the United States is effectively handing over sovereignty to the World Health Organization in the event of another pandemic.

What Comes Next? On February 19, discussions pick back again. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and other progressive supporters of the agreement are still putting pressure on Biden to give in. The White House claims that before the deadline, Biden's stance could change.

DOJ and legacy media say Biden is too old

Here is what’s going on: Citing President Joe Biden's declining mental health, the Department of Justice (DOJ) decided not to prosecute him for his handling of secret materials while serving as vice president.

The evidence: Biden "willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency," according to the DOJ, which is why the decision was made. Documents about Afghanistan and "sensitive intelligence sources and methods" were among them.

  • The DOJ's rationale: It was that it would be difficult to persuade a jury that Biden knowingly disregarded the law. The investigation stated that "Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury... as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."

  • Recall that: in a related case, Biden's DOJ searched former President Donald Trump's residence and filed charges against him. Unlike Trump, Biden lacked the presidential authority to declassify materials.

Why it’s important: Conservatives are incensed by the report because they perceive it as more evidence of the court system's discriminatory practices. The 81-year-old president's legal issues are cleared up by the study, but it raises questions about his mental health in front of the election in November.

  • Unsettling information: the DOJ said that Biden was unable to recall either the year he lost his son Beau or the years he served as vice president.

  • Not helpful: In response to the story, Biden assured the media that his "memory is fine" before mixing up Egypt and Mexico in his Middle East remarks. Shortly after, Biden declared that he was "a president for everybody, regardless of your state's partisan affiliation."

The media is not showing any mercy: even traditional media outlets are characterizing Biden's mental errors as "a profound and growing problem" and the report as "devastating." The New York Times published scathing editorials advocating for his resignation and labeling his cognitive impairment as perilous for Democrats.
