Johnson stated from his campaign headquarters that we’ve been working for a year preparing our strategy, and if we’re going to execute it successfully, we need to keep the same team in place.

Johnson also expressed confidence that it would be difficult for Republicans to lose the House, even with Trump potentially winning back the White House. He pointed out that while Trump’s path to victory was becoming clearer, particularly in battleground states, the overall margin of victory was expected to be narrow. Johnson said that New York and California were always crucial for securing the majority, but California remains uncertain. He also hopes that the situation on the ground there translates into votes.

On the same election night, President-elect Donald Trump addressed the nation from his headquarters, delivering an emotional victory speech. Reflecting on his journey, Trump acknowledged the challenges he had faced, including two assassination attempts since July. Trump was expressing his gratitude for the second opportunity to serve the American people.

Trump’s victory speech highlighted not only his win in key battleground states like North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania but also his success in securing the popular vote. Trump stated that we have now won Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, and Alaska, giving us at least 315 electoral votes,  as the crowd erupted into chants of “USA! USA!”

Trump emphasized the significance of the moment, proclaiming that God’s purpose for him was clear: to restore America to greatness. He declared that this was a magnificent victory for the American people, and together we are going to make America great again.

The President-elect reflected on the historic nature of the election, expressing pride in the results and the unprecedented mandate his victory represented. Trump said. that we’ve taken back control of the Senate, and he would bring every ounce of energy to fulfill the responsibilities that the people have entrusted him to.

Trump also promised to tackle major issues like immigration reform and the restoration of American strength. He said that we’ve made history tonight, overcoming challenges nobody thought possible. This victory is unprecedented, and it marks the beginning of a new era for America.
