Marianne Williamson Said She Will Run for the 2024 Presidency
Author Marianne Williamson announced she will seek the Democratic nomination for president again in 2024.
Williamson told the Medill News Service, which is produced by students at Northwestern University, that she wouldn’t be running for president if she didn’t believe she could contribute to harnessing the collective sensibility that she actually feels is her greatest hope at this time.

Williamson is expected to make her important announcement early next month in the nation’s capital, beating out any other Democrats who have yet to enter the race. Joe Biden, the current Democratic president, has not yet declared whether or not he will run for president again in 2020.
Williamson became well-known in 2020 after she launched an unlikely run for president, but she ultimately decided to withdraw from the race in January of that year. She asked in an interview with the student-run outlet, How is it possible for someone to claim to be a champion of democracy when their own process is so undemocratic
She was referring to the decision by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to move South Carolina ahead of Iowa in the presidential primary schedule. Many people attribute the new cast to President Joe Biden.
