McConnell Sent Spinning by His Own Party

Mitch McConnell was the target of Donald Trump’s criticism for a long time. Even Mitch McConnell’s allegiance has been put into doubt since the Republican leader in the Senate is more ready to assist Joe Biden and Democrats than he is to assist his own party. This year, McConnell withdrew financial support for Republican candidates running in competitive Senate elections. He went so far as to campaign against prominent Republican candidates in the primary election.

Ted Cruz lashed out at the individual, claiming that Mitch McConnell would prefer to work with Democrats to get a majority in the Senate than with members of his own party.
Wow. The vast majority of Republican voters want Mitch McConnell to step down from his position as leader of the Republican Senate majority. A staggering 62% of them are against Mitch continuing to be in charge of the company. On top of that, the majority of voters who belong to other categories have a negative opinion of McConnell.

What steps has McConnell taken in the last two years to improve the state of the nation? McConnell has taken a back seat while Democrats have trampled all over the citizens of the United States. Even while President Biden allowed the Taliban to seize control of Afghanistan, he has spoken and done little to nothing.

When Biden announced rules that placed the safety of millions of employees in jeopardy, Mitch did nothing to stop him. He did nothing while President Biden crippled the American energy industry and contributed to surging prices. Republicans who betrayed their party by voting for Joe Biden’s infrastructure program were not reprimanded by Mitch McConnell.

When it came time for the midterm elections, where was Mitch? Even going so far as to try to prevent a Republican candidate from putting up a strategy to counter President Joe Biden’s failing agenda. The only thing Mitch wanted was for Republicans to be quiet and let Biden’s record of failure speak for itself. What kind of results did they get from doing that?

It would seem that Mitch is a RINO who collaborates with Democrats and opposing Republicans in order to benefit the swamp. It’s unfortunate that the rest of the Republicans in the Senate aren’t listening since they just voted to make him their leader once again.
