When Joe Biden became president, he completely derailed a delicate agreement that Donald Trump had crafted.

Trump tore up the bad Iran deal that Obama had negotiated, but he held Iran in place with sanctions and other restrictions all of which were designed to assure that the rogue nation would never obtain a nuclear weapon. Biden began negotiations with the dictatorship to restore Obama’s accord, despite the fact that he ignored every common sense and conventional wisdom. The sanctions were going to be lifted, but Iran was still going to be stopped from getting the bomb.

But now, officials are acknowledging that Biden’s strategy was a total bust and that they should have known better. Why is Iran supposedly on the verge of obtaining a nuclear weapon? Probably because they witnessed how badly Biden handled the situation in Afghanistan. The reasons why he was unable to prevent Russia from invading Ukraine And how he is likely to consent to China’s annexation of Taiwan.
Why should Iran talk with a government that is as weak as this one? We are not speaking about the current President of the United States. He put Iran in its place by subjecting it to severe sanctions and even threatening it with strategic missile attacks. In addition to this, he was a fervent defender of Israel, which is the only country in the Middle East that has a strategy for dealing with Iran.

Iran is aware that Biden, in his capacity as a leader, is not even somewhat close to Trump. Why bother with making a bargain when they can just go ahead and build the bomb and keep the whole world in suspense?
Nobody, including me, believes for a second that Joe Biden has the intestinal fortitude to stand up to Iran. It would appear that a bunch of idiots is running his State Department. Even cooperation with China is beyond their capabilities.
And it is quite evident that Iran has formed an alliance with Russia, which is essentially a dictatorship that is currently engaged in an aggressive war against Ukraine that carries the risk of escalating into nuclear war against its European allies.
There is nothing that Russia would enjoy more than for its friend to take action and wreak even more havoc around the world. Do we still have sufficient time to elect a new president and put a stop to Iran’s nuclear program? The consensus of the experts is that it is now too late.
