Senate Democrats Plan to Slip Poison Pill into Funding Bill
Before the midterm elections in November, Democrats have a very small window of opportunity to enact any legislation, I mean, to cause any damage.

But because there are 50 senators for each party, they have to figure out a means to advance their program without the assistance of the GOP. Therefore, a brilliant individual is attempting to insert a poison pill into a bill in order to promote, of all things, gay marriage.
Reports indicate that Democrats are attempting to include provisions for homosexual marriage and other things from their far-left agenda in a government budget package that must be approved. Now I know what you’re going through in your head. What does the legalization of gay marriage have to do with the money that the government spends? That’s an interesting point to bring up.
However, Democrats are big fans of using the continuing resolution as a weapon to push their agenda through Congress. They run the prospect of a shutdown of the government if they refuse to support these items, whether they are Democrats or Republicans. When it comes to gay marriage, will Democratic politicians really allow the government to shut down? Even if Republicans choose to ignore the issue, Democrats will continue to attempt to use it to paint them in a homophobic light.

But that’s not the end of it. It would appear that Democrats are utilizing the CR bill in order to advance Manchin’s promised gas project. Machin will be left with nothing to show for abandoning voters as progressive Democrats have already committed to scuttling that arrangement.
However, it is not yet obvious whether Republicans in the Senate will resist this effort to codify gay marriage (which was made legal by the Supreme Court years ago).In spite of this, it is highly possible that there will be a shutdown of the government because of the extreme agenda of the Democrats.
