Alan Dershowitz Gives Trump a Major Warning

Alan Dershowitz, a Democrat who teaches law at Harvard and is a law professor there, has weighed in on the FBI’s attack on Donald Trump on multiple occasions.

An authority on the Constitution lashed out at the Department of Justice for conducting a raid at Trump’s house. At this point, he is offering his thoughts and opinions on the whole situation. The DOJ may have sufficient evidence to bring charges, but the investigation won’t lead anywhere.

Dershowitz, a liberal legal scholar, asserts that enough for an indictment has been gathered by the FBI. That appears to be in direct contradiction to what several other legal experts are claiming. According to the warrant, Trump was illegally holding onto classified data. This is an accusation made by the FBI. Others, however, have mentioned that presidents are afforded a unique privilege with regard to records of this nature.

Not only that, but while he was at Mar-a-Lago, Trump possessed the authority to declassify any and all documents he took with him. And let’s not forget that Obama and Clinton removed stuff from the White House after they had left, with no investigations or prosecutions being brought against them. In spite of what Dershowitz has stated, he claims that the Department of Justice will not prosecute this matter because it does not satisfy the “Nixon-Clinton standards.”

The evidence was so compelling that members of Nixon’s own party decided to oppose him for the presidency. Despite the severity of the claims, Clinton was never brought to justice. It is likely that Dershowitz is spot on with his assessment. But let’s be honest. There is a good chance that there is insufficient evidence to warrant an indictment. But nevertheless, the Department of Justice will make an effort to bring charges–the exact reverse of what Dershowitz is arguing.

Keep in mind that these are the same Democrats who, on the basis of a fabricated dossier, accused President Trump of being a puppet for the Russian government. Those same Democrats who twice tried to impeach him without first conducting investigations that were fair. Do we really believe that this Department of Justice won’t try to prosecute, regardless of whether there is evidence or not?
