Joe Manchin Dropped Jaws in Latest Admission

When Joe Manchin voted for the most recent tax and spending measure proposed by Joe Biden, he violated the voters of his state and the state itself. According to the findings of various experts, this law will both raise taxes and make inflation significantly worse. However, when pressed for an answer, Manchin demonstrated that he may have lost the ability to think clearly.

Wow. It seems as though Manchin is simply another swamp dweller in the District of Columbia. When questioned about this new inflation bill, he responded by denying that it would have the effect of reducing costs for American consumers. Why would it? This is what he questioned in a tone that was almost contemptuous. Why on earth would that be, Manchin? Isn’t providing assistance to American citizens the primary reason you supported passing the bill?

Taxes on fossil fuels, such as coal, which is an important industry in West Virginia, were seen by the experts who evaluated the law. Rich liberals and the green industry are the only two groups that appear to emerge victorious from this debate. Taxes will go up for middle-class, hard-working Americans, and so will the prices of everything else. Manchin has previously pledged that he would not support a bill if it would result in an increase in taxes and be detrimental to our economy.

Despite this, he changed his mind and allowed it to pass just a few weeks before Democrats lost control of Congress. There is little question that members of his party put pressure on him to do so in order to save the midterm elections.

But in the coming years, it will be difficult for Manchin to explain why he destroyed the economy of his home state of West Virginia. And I seriously doubt that he will be able to provide a response that would make the people in his hometown happy.
