Repeatedly, Republicans have pledged that if they are successful in winning back control of Congress, they will demand accountability from this administration. However, it does not appear that even a single Republican will wait until after the midterm elections in 2022. The reason for this is that the conservative firebrand MTG has just attacked one of the heads of this deep state snake.

Boom. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, has introduced articles of impeachment against Merrick Garland, who serves as Attorney General for Joe Biden’s administration. Why did she do it? The fact that Garland gave her assent for the FBI to raid Trump’s Mar-a-Largo resort can be considered the “persecution of a political opponent.”

It is not a secret that many Republicans have cast doubt on the legality of the raid that the FBI conducted at Trump’s residence as well as the purported investigation that was involved with it. There doesn’t seem to be much smoke coming from this fire, according to a few legal experts. As president, Trump possessed the authority to declassify any records that he brought with him to Mar-a-Largo.

In addition to that, his team disclosed that they had been helping the FBI and the National Archives with their investigation. We cannot assert that we are aware of what the FBI is doing, but it is common knowledge that the agency’s reputation has suffered significant damage over the course of the past few years. Especially considering the fact that the FBI employs distinct strategies when dealing with investigations involving Democrats and Republicans.

Even if everything was “on the up-and-up,” how can any honest American not question it when the investigation is being conducted by a Democrat government into a competitor from the past and one that could emerge in the future?

Remember that the Democrats brought impeachment charges against Trump because of a phone call he made about Joe Biden. But now the FBI conducted a raid on Trump’s house, which appears to be a lot more serious situation than a phone call.

Greene’s present push to impeach Garland is not expected to get any traction, as this is highly unlikely. However, if the Republicans are successful in winning back control of the House and Senate in 2022, they will have the authority to do much more than simply issue articles of impeachment. Prepare yourself for a variety of probes, hearings, and legal challenges directed at Biden and the DOJ.
