Half Of Democrats Don’t Want Biden In 2024

Biden’s bad news is becoming worse as he moves further into his term. A USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll released Friday finds that a staggering half of Democrat voters do not want him to run for president again in 2024, according to The Daily Caller.

Only 39% of those polled said they are satisfied with Biden’s performance thus far, and 69% of all voters, including 50% of Democrats, want him to run for president again in 2024, according to the results. Former President Donald Trump was likewise shaken by the news, but not to the same degree as his own supporters.

Sixty-eight percent of those surveyed said they didn’t want him to run again, while only a third of Republicans said the same. The latest Democrat to question President Joe Biden’s reelection prospects in 2024 is a former assistant to then-President Barack Obama. Dems are beginning to question the viability of Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential bid, despite his frequent declarations that he plans to run again.

On CNN on Tuesday, Obama adviser David Axelrod delivered bad news regarding Biden’s re-election chances. According to Newsweek, 75% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters said they don’t want Biden to run for president again in 2024, which prompted Axelrod to address the issue. According to the ex-Obama confidant, the president will have to make a decision on whether or not to run for re-election once the figures are all in. He’s going to be devastated by this information, I’m sure of it. Surely, Axelrod was worried about it.

That However, it’s worth noting that the next election is just over two and a half years away, so it’s possible to get too fixated on a single statistic. As for his overall approval rating, Axelrod said that there is a sequence of metrics that are not favorable.

While polls for President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden have been terrible, the Democratic-controlled Congress has been blamed for significant inflation that has led to record-high gas prices, food prices, and housing expenses. Other consumer products, including baby formula, diapers, and tampons are in low supply because of a chaotic border with Mexico. According to a CNBC analysis this week, nearly half of Americans have accumulated more debt during the Biden-Harris presidency.

According to the American Consumer Credit Counseling, a recent study of household financial health and preparation found that about 40% of customers could not save any money at all, while roughly 19% stated they had to cut their savings rate. Only 28 percent of Americans have enough emergency savings to cover three months’ worth of costs, according to a Bankrate survey cited in the paper.

LendingTree’s poll found that 43 percent of Americans plan to take on more debt in the next six months to make ends meet, particularly among young individuals and parents with young children. Customers have had to adapt to many various financial phases within a short amount of time, according to American Consumer Credit Counseling CEO Allen Amadin.
