Supreme Court Pushes Back on Major Controversy

The initial spark that started the Roe v. Wade controversy was the publication of an unfinished ruling that had been stolen from the court. The majority of people feel that someone took these unprecedented steps so that Democrats would sue the court and ask it to modify its decision. They were, thankfully, unsuccessful. Nevertheless, despite there supposedly being an inquiry, the person who leaked the information has not been brought to court.

Despite assurances that an inquiry has been opened to identify the source of the leak, we have heard nothing about it in the past three months. The court has not provided the American public with any recent updates regarding this critical matter. Even if some authorities have deemed this to be illegal activity, we have no way of knowing whether or not the court contacted federal investigators.

Do you honestly think that after three months, they still don’t know who did this? They most likely knew about it on the very first day. The Supreme Court of the United States is not a very large institution. It would not take the justices very long to question their clerks if they wanted to. That opinion draft was only available to a limited number of people. So, why haven’t they told us who committed the crime?

The disclosure was a violation of the court’s rules and put a number of justices in jeopardy. This risk is still present since extremist activists continue to demonstrate and threaten the justices and their families. This is not merely an internal affair for the court; it affects a far larger audience. The decisions of the court have an effect on each and every American. And a breach of this size shocked the entire nation for a considerable amount of time. If we choose not to address it, it could lead to other leaks, which would be detrimental to our society.
