GOP Summit Poll Reveals Landslide Winner
There has been a significant amount of speculation regarding the Republican nominee for 2024. In the most recent months, a number of people have asserted that Trump’s chances are extremely low. Some people, mostly historically liberals like Elon Musk and Joe Rogan, have proposed the name of Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis as a potential candidate for president.

However, those in attendance at a major conservative conference were polled about their thoughts on the matter. This, then, was the correct response. Oh man, I guess that’s what we mean when we talk about a landslide. A poll about 2024 was taken at the most recent TPUSA convention, which was a major event attended by conservative activists in their college years (and some younger ones as well). And Trump won by an enormous margin, 78.7 percent to Ron DeSantis’s 19 percent in the popular vote. There was not a single other option in the poll that even came close.
It is important to keep in mind that the Republican Party, in general, has a lot of love for DeSantis. He is a rising star and the most conservative governor in the entire country (even more so than Texas’ Greg Abbott), and he is the most conservative governor in Texas. This, however, does not alter the fact that a conference comprised of young conservatives overwhelmingly supported Trump’s candidacy.
This poll is extremely important because it assesses the perspectives of those who will be in positions of authority in the future. Additionally, members of Turning Point USA tend to have a more traditional worldview than their own parents did. This prominent group of conservatives places the interests of the United States of America ahead of those of many Boomers. They are vehemently committed to putting an end to socialism and protecting the liberties of the American people.

They are in many respects a powerful window into the minds of everyday conservatives, as opposed to the minds of Republicans in the establishment. And if they are unequivocally in support of Trump, then there is no reason for us to be uncertain about how the rest of the party will vote. This tells us that the nomination is already Trump’s, should he choose to run for president again in 2024.
