Republicans Will Likely Aim to Impeach Joe Biden

Republicans are likely to begin impeachment proceedings against President Joe Biden if they gain control of the House of Representatives and/or the Senate in the next midterm elections, as is largely predicted to happen to the Democrats. If the conservative party were to acquire control of both houses of Congress, Newsweek said, many Republican members have said the right-wing party might attempt to pursue the bill against Biden.

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas said in January that there were several grounds to impeach Biden. Republican Congressman Ken Buck of Colorado said in April that the House Judiciary Committee would begin hearings to investigate if impeachment is necessary. Our group will be voting on whether or not to impeach the president. Buck highlighted that the full House would be shown the proposal later.

Earlier this month, numerous Republicans claimed that Biden’s agreement to sell over a million barrels of oil to a Chinese company with ties to his son Hunter Biden constituted a “impeachable” violation. According to The Epoch Times, in April, the United States Department of Energy sold 950,000 barrels of Strategic Petroleum Reserve to Unipec America, the American branch of China Petrochemical Corporation, the country’s largest energy corporation.

The Biden administration shouldn’t be giving China access to our country’s much-needed reserves. Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio called the idea foolish and defies basic common sense. The sale of oil to China by the Biden administration has been called “impeachable” by Republican representatives including Texas’ Troy Nehls and Ohio’s Mike Loychik.

Biden just sold a million barrels of our reserved oil to China so he and his family can make a profit while Americans like you are spending $5 per gallon at the pump and struggling to pay their power bills. This is impeachable Republican Texas Representative Troy Nehls stated. And this comes as Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer, who is the leading member of the House Oversight Committee, has accused the Biden Treasury Department of providing “cover” for Hunter Biden by enforcing a new regulation regarding requests for financial documents.
