Supreme Court Rocks Nation with 5-4 Decision

the Supreme Court of the United States dealt significant setbacks to Biden’s plans. Now, they just came out with a decision that is only temporary, but it will set back Biden’s plan to open the borders. The decision of a lower court that prohibited Vice President Biden’s Department of Homeland Security from only deporting aliens who posed the “greatest threat” to our nation was upheld, and the Supreme Court declined to overturn it.

Recent events saw Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a memo that, if followed, would have prevented the government from deporting people solely on the basis of the fact that they entered the country illegally. Bear in mind that according to the law, that alone is sufficient grounds to expel someone from the country. Mayorkas, who was in charge of the Department of Homeland Security when Biden was president, was attempting to establish a policy that would have made it impossible for any alien to be deported unless there was substantial evidence that they were dangerous.
Do you think that this administration would have deported people on a regular basis back then? Almost certainly not ever. This policy was halted by a lower court, which means that the rules that were in place before are still in effect. The administration of President Joe Biden moved swiftly to petition the Supreme Court. At the very least, it wished for the court to reverse the decision of the lower court so that as many illegal border crossers as possible could remain in the United States.

However, as a result of the Supreme Court’s decision, the dubious plan that Biden proposed will not be implemented. Later on in 2018, the court will make a decision regarding the verdict that will stand permanently. The decision that the court comes to will have a significant bearing on our border. The Supreme Court has the ability to prevent Biden from maintaining an open border in its current state. Or, the court may decide that President Biden is free to act whenever he sees fit, including disobeying immigration legislation that calls for the protection of our borders.
