Supreme Court Sends Congress into a Flurry
The Democratic Party is still wrangling over the possibility of Roe v. Wade being overturned. They appear to be afraid that the conservative majority on the Supreme Court would further destroy many of their prized “victories” on the left.

Therefore, Pelosi’s House, which has accomplished very little over the course of the past few years, is attempting to force through radical agenda items.
Despite the fact that the midterm elections are only a few short months away, Democrats in the House of Representatives are working to advance far-left policies through Congress.
Not only do they want to safeguard homosexual marriage and other leftist interests through the use of legislation, but they are also attempting to use legislation to legalize abortion. In light of the Supreme Court’s landmark decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and return abortion lawmaking to the states, this action has been taken.
It would appear that Democrats in the House seek to usurp the authority of the court and strip the states of their ability to choose abortion laws on their own. The court made it clear in its decision that the Constitution does not give any individual the right to have an abortion. They came to the conclusion that only states, guided by the preferences of their citizens, should make the decision.

However, Democrats are making every effort to achieve these liberal victories before November, when they expect to lose their majority. There is little probability that any of these bills will be approved by the Senate. The upper chamber is still evenly divided, therefore these bills need the support of at least sixty lawmakers to pass. It is quite doubtful that Senator Manchin will back efforts to eliminate the filibuster in order to advance homosexual marriage and abortion rights.
