Federal Court Orders Biden to Hand it Over

Since many years ago, citizens and leaders on the political right have been asking themselves the same question: “Am I being unjustly silenced on social media?” Why do I get the impression that every single one of these businesses is completely prejudiced? As a direct consequence of this, multiple investigations have been opened into major firms such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter. There are also rumored connections between these businesses and the government of former President Joe Biden. And now, a ruling has been handed down by a federal court stating that the latter matter must be disclosed.

In May, there was a rumor that Gina McCarthy, a top assistant to Joe Biden, had encouraged technology companies to increase their level of censorship of specific ideas. It should come as no surprise that most people thought she was referring to conservative positions. Almost immediately after that, Representative Lance Gooden (R-Texas) opened an investigation into the purported relationship that exists between the government and Big Tech. He cited McCarthy’s comments.

And today, in what Republican Sen. Roy Blunt described as a “major development,” a federal court asked that the administration of Joe Biden turn up any and all correspondence that it had with senior officials of technology companies. The attorneys general are looking for any and all information that pertains to conversations that took place between members of the Biden administration and high-ranking employees of major technology companies.

This verdict, according to Senator Blunt, “paves the way for my Office to gather key records in order to get to the heart of that alleged collaboration.” This is the break that the prosecutors were hoping for, and it may out to be highly illuminating. According to Liz Murrill, the Solicitor General for the State of Louisiana, this demonstrates “the federal government’s plan to turn itself into the speech police.”

The topic of free speech on social media platforms has reached a fever pitch, and more and more people in the United States are becoming concerned about their rights under the First Amendment when they are online. The majority of conservatives have the impression that their voices are being stifled on a regular basis. And if the federal government is supporting this silencing by conspiring with big tech companies, it is a very serious problem that needs to be addressed. As a result, this probe needs to be watched very attentively because it may also have a significant influence on elections in the future.
