Biden Just Put America Last Again
Gas prices have remained stubbornly high, and industry experts warn that they have the potential to climb even higher by a significant amount if Russia decides to put more pressure on the market. At the same time, the administration of President Joe Biden continues to say that Americans will simply have to suffer for a while, and leftist politicians continue to push their green agenda despite the fact that the economy is on the verge of recession.

In spite of the challenges we face here at home, however, it would appear that Biden’s actions are beneficial to other nations. Over the course of the past few weeks, Vice President Biden has made frequent references to the fact that they are releasing one million barrels of oil per day. He asserts that this gives the nation access to a “historic amount of supply.” Even so, this “unprecedented” move has not been able to deflate gas prices all that much, as the national average price for a gallon of gas continues to hover around $4.80. As a direct consequence of this, the economy and the cost of living are at the forefront of citizens’ minds.
The stock market is continuing to perform poorly, and many economic analysts believe a recession is at least a distinct possibility. And for the majority of regular Americans, this winter might turn out to be a particularly challenging one. Because of this, many people are going to be furious when they find out that the decisions made by the Biden administration are resulting in the export of our valuable oil resources. This includes the shipment of 470,000 barrels of sour crude by the American oil refiner Phillips 66 to the city of Trieste in Italy, as well as crude oil destined for India, the Netherlands, and China.
Those who are paying nearly $5 per gallon at the pump are having a hard time understanding this move, as it appears to support the critics’ cry of “America Last” regarding the policies of the Biden administration.

Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary for the White House, did not provide any answers but merely stated that she was unaware of anything related to the topic and would “look into it.”After reversing a significant number of his predecessor’s energy policies, many people believe that Vice President Biden is responsible for putting the United States in this dangerous position during his first few weeks in office. The devastating decision to abandon the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline was made.
Then there are allegations that Biden kept delaying new drilling permits, which has led to our current predicament of having to beg other countries for oil. The White House, on the other hand, continues to point the finger at the Russian invasion of Ukraine; just recently, the President stated that Vladimir Putin is “principally responsible” for the current strain on the American economy.
However, a significant number of economists have found flaws in this line of reasoning, and the leadership of some oil companies has pointed the blame squarely at the President. When the administration then turns around and indirectly sends five million barrels of oil to other countries, it is reasonable for the people of the United States to feel frustrated and angry about the situation. Additionally, it does not help the reputation of the White House. The approval ratings for Biden’s job performance are already at a historical low; it’s possible that they will drop even further once this news begins to spread.
